Our Twitter Policy

OMSA’s Twitter account @nzOMSA is managed by the administration team.

If you follow OMSA you can expect to receive tweets covering the following topics:

  • Complaints Committee rulings
  • Press releases, policy or Code of Standards changes
  • Recruitment for any vacancies and/or appointments

We do not accept complaints via Twitter. To make an official complaint please use our Online Complaints Form.

If you follow OMSA on Twitter we will not automatically follow you back. Being followed back by OMSA does not imply endorsement of any kind.


OMSA will update its Twitter account during office hours from Monday to Friday. Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and OMSA accepts no responsibility for lack of service due to Twitter downtime.

We welcome feedback from our followers and do read all the comments that we receive. Where possible we will reply to comments and join in the conversation where we can.
